Job summary

PehuTec Oy is seeking an experienced embedded software engineer to develop software for intelligent devices and IoT solutions. You will work with modern technologies to push the boundaries of what is possible.

We value strong C/C++ programming skills, Yocto-based Linux development, kernel-level and device driver work, bootloaders, and hardware bring-up. Fluency in English and clear technical documentation are essential.

Qualifications

• Solid experience with Yocto-based Linux development in embedded systems
• Kernel-level and device driver development
• Bootloaders and hardware bring-up
• Excellent C and C++ programming skills with adept debugging
• Practical Linux kernel experience
• Configuring and managing SoC peripherals and external hardware
• Understanding processor architectures and toolchains for embedded systems
• Ability to read schematics and datasheets
• Software architecture design experience and project management
• Fluent English (spoken and written)
• Ability to produce clear technical documentation
• Strong analytical, debugging and problem-solving skills
• Teamwork skills
• Rust programming experience is a plus
