Job summary

Skydio is seeking an experienced camera systems engineer in Tampere, Finland to design and bring up autonomous drone camera subsystems. You will work on ISP pipelines, hardware bring-up, and optimization for state-of-the-art image processing across CPU/DSP/GPU paths.

The role emphasizes hands-on development, collaboration with QA and calibration teams, and bringing up next-generation camera software for autonomous flight applications. Relocation assistance possible.

Qualifications

• Experience in ISP development on ARM-based Linux/Android SoCs, esp. Qualcomm.
• Deep understanding of ISP pipeline architecture and post-processing.
• Hands-on with real-time 3A algorithms and image quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and integration of camera subsystems
• Design and bring up ISP and camera hardware
• Configure and optimize ISP and encoder pipelines
• Collaborate with image quality, calibration, and test teams
• Develop next-generation image processing algorithms
• Bring up and debug new hardware platforms
