Job summary

Kempower, a Finland-based DC fast charger designer and manufacturer, is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer, Electronics to drive manufacturability, ramp-up readiness, product reliability, and QA of power modules and PCBA.

You will support stable production, review designs for manufacturability, define QC requirements, and collaborate with suppliers. The role is hybrid with offices in Lahti, Tampere, Vaasa or Helsinki, and periodic travel to suppliers and customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Quality, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• Experience with electronics manufacturing and PCBA processes.
• Knowledge of Design for Manufacturing, production readiness, and ramp‑up.
• Familiarity with quality tools: FMEA, control plans, RCA, corrective actions.
• Ability to analyze manufacturing and quality data and drive concrete improvements.
• Proactive, structured working style with strong ownership and stakeholder management.
• English proficiency required; Finnish language is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Investigate customer, field, production, and supplier quality issues.
• Drive the quality and manufacturability of power modules and PCBA.
• Support new product introduction and production ramp-up activities.
• Define manufacturing, testing, documentation, traceability, and quality control requirements.
• Support supplier audits, production readiness reviews, and supplier quality improvement activities.
• Collaborate across teams and suppliers to close issues.
