Job summary

Wapice Ltd. seeks a Senior Electronics Designer to lead end-to-end electronics design, from concept through to production, shaping hardware architecture and modules.

The role spans sensor interfaces, embedded platforms, and Linux-capable SoCs, with a strong emphasis on system-level integration. Based in Finland with preferred locations Tampere or Vaasa, the role offers a hybrid working model and a path to broaden expertise across multiple industries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years hands-on electronics product development experience.
• Experience with CE/FCC/UL compliance workflows.
• Experience partitioning hardware, firmware, and FPGA functional boundaries.
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of complete electronic designs from concept to production.
• Define system-level architecture for PCBs, modules and units.
• Collaborate closely with software and other engineering disciplines.
• Champion device-level architecture across diverse projects.
