Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) leader to develop, implement, and maintain the EHS Management System across projects, ensuring compliance with laws and client requirements. You will plan audits, inspections, and regulatory reviews while delivering inductions and targeted training for personnel and contractors.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, at least 6 years of EHS experience in construction/infrastructure, relevant certifications, and

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant EHS experience, preferably in construction/oil & gas/infrastructure.
  • Certifications: EU-OSHA, NEBOSH, CESAT, IOSH.
  • Ability to work on-site and travel as needed.
  • Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain the EHS Management System in compliance with laws, regulations, company standards, and client requirements.
  • Ensure construction activities align with EHS requirements and best practices.
  • Conduct project risk assessments and maintain a risk register.
  • Plan and participate in internal EHS audits, site inspections, and regulatory inspections.
  • Develop and deliver EHS induction programs, toolbox talks, and training for employees, contractors, and management.
  • Lead investigations of incidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions.
