Job summary

ICEYE seeks a Senior DevOps Engineer for core platform engineering to design, operate, and evolve the foundational cloud/on-prem infra powering our SAR-based products. You’ll build scalable, secure services, implement observability, and collaborate with product teams to drive platform adoption.

You’ll join a hybrid team, work across Espoo and Berlin locations, and mentor engineers on Kubernetes, networking, identity, and security practices. This is a permanent role with security screenings.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering roles operating production systems.
• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes, including cluster operations, networking, and lifecycle management.
• Solid understanding of AWS fundamentals including networking, IAM, compute, and storage.
• Experience with infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform.
• Practical experience with observability, including SLOs, metrics, logs, traces, and alerting.
• Proficiency in at least one backend language such as Python or Go
• Strong Linux systems knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to collaborate across teams and communicate effectively in English.

Your day-to-day responsibilities

What we’re looking for

Must haves:

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering roles operating production systems
