Job summary

ICEYE Oy is seeking a Senior Facility Security Specialist to lead security at our Espoo sites. You will protect personnel, facilities, and classified information while aligning with government requirements and ICEYE’s global standards.

The role covers access control, surveillance, personnel security, and end-to-end project ownership, with a focus on scaling security across international sites and embedding security awareness throughout the organization.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of facility security in international, multi-site environment.
• Experience building and scaling security processes in high-pace settings.
• End-to-end project ownership from concept to handover.
• Experience working with security vendors such as guard force management.
• Hands-on with access control, surveillance and intrusion detection systems.
• Proven capability in personnel security and security systems design.

Responsibilities

• Ensure ICEYE facilities attain and maintain appropriate security classifications.
• Maintain classified asset protection and deter insider/external threats.
• Handle security incidents: report, investigate, and resolve with stakeholders; apply lessons learned to improvements.
• Ensure staff understand and meet security responsibilities and compliance obligations.
• Coordinate and manage security vendors.
• Own security projects end to end: scoping, budgeting, implementation, handover.
• Scale security practices across new and international sites as ICEYE grows.
• Build organization-wide security awareness across staff.

Why this role matters:

As a Senior Facility Security Specialist, you'll ensures ICEYE's secure sites operate safely and in line with government security expectations. The role exists to protect people, facilities, processes, and classified information from compromise or disruption.

This role applies defence-grade security practices to ICEYE's satellite services and classified environments, covering physical security, classified systems, personnel security, and information protection to meet national and international requirements.

Your day-to-day responsibilities

• Ensure ICEYE facilities attain and maintain appropriate security classifications.




• Maintain classified asset protection, prevent and contain insider and external threats.




• Handle security incidents decisively: report, investigate, and resolve in coordination with internal & external stakeholders, applying lessons learned to drive improvements.




• Ensure staff understand and meet their security responsibilities, handling classified information correctly and complying with personnel security obligations.




• Manage and coordinate security vendors.




• Own security projects end to end, from scoping and budget through implementation and handover.




• Help scale security practices across new and international sites as ICEYE grows.




• Build organization-wide security awareness so staff understand their responsibilities.

What we’re looking for

Must haves:

• 4+ years of facility security experience in an international, multi-site environment.




• Experience in a high-pace environment, building and scaling security processes.




• Track record of end-to-end project ownership, from concept and budget through implementation and handover.




• Experience working with security vendors such as guard force management.




• Hands-on experience with access control, surveillance and intrusion detection systems.




• Proven capability in personnel security, project management, security systems design as well as documentation.

Nice to haves:

• Experience working directly with government, defence, or other highly regulated customers.




• Familiarity with compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, KATAKRI, NATO).




• Demonstrated audit and regulatory inspection experience.




• Incident investigation and reporting experience.




• Ability to build strong security culture and awareness across an organization.
