Job summary

Huhtamaki is seeking a Senior Data Platform Engineer to build and optimize a shared Microsoft Fabric data platform with AIS-based data integrations. Based at our Espoo headquarters, the role is hybrid (4 days per week) and collaboration-focused, working with architects, solution teams and stakeholders.

You will develop reusable components, improve CI/CD, and ensure secure, scalable data flows while modernizing the platform and enabling AI-assisted engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or a related field.
• 7+ years’ experience working with enterprise-level data platforms or data warehouses.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric (highly desirable).
• Experience with Azure Integration Services (desirable) or equivalent integration technologies, REST APIs and enterprise system integrations.
• Clear communication skills in English, including the ability to communicate effectively with the team.
• A willingness to help others and encourage colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Platform administration and optimization of the Microsoft Fabric platform.
• Develop reusable platform components, automation and standardized ingestion patterns.
• Build inbound connectivity and reusable ingestion patterns for data intake.
• Design, develop and maintain outbound data integrations using Azure Integration Services.
• Improve CI/CD and engineering practices (Git, DevOps, automated testing, deployments).
• Implement and uphold security, access controls, and guardrails across platform components.
• Provide documentation, onboarding and practical engineering guidance for solution teams.
• Own platform migrations, new capabilities, and modernization initiatives, reducing technical debt.
