Job summary

Nordea seeks an Expert IT Developer/Data Engineer to advance the Capital and Credit Data Foundation by building scalable ELT/ETL pipelines and optimizing data workflows. The role spans on-prem and cloud hybrid infra across Finland and Poland, shaping data delivery for strategic business processes.

You will design data models, write efficient SQL, deploy CI/CD, and collaborate with data engineers, architects, PMs and more in a growing Nordic bank.

Qualifications

• Engineering/CS background or related technical degree.
• Experience in OLAP design using star/snowflake/denormalized schemas.
• ELT/ETL development with GUI tools and Snowflake.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain scalable ELT/ETL pipelines.
• Develop and optimize PLSQL queries for high-performance Snowflake/Oracle storage.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for data infrastructure and workflow automation.
• Understand and manage database change control and migrations.
• Integrate and manage modern data stack components.
• Monitor, debug and optimize data workflows and infrastructure performance.
• Ensure data quality, governance and compliance with best practices.
