Job summary

The Nordic Investment Bank (NIB) is seeking a proactive (Senior) Business Analyst to drive data analytics and BI initiatives for Lending operations. You will work at the intersection of business, data, and technology in an international environment, collaborating with various units to improve data quality, automation, and decision support.

The role combines data analysis, governance, and AI considerations, with exposure to Databricks, Snowflake, and Microsoft Copilot tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field.
• 2–10 years of relevant experience in a financial institution, large corporation or management consultancy.
• Strong skills in requirements writing, process mapping, and blueprint creation.

Responsibilities

• Develop advanced analytics and BI to support lending decisions.
• Build analytics workflows using SQL and Python in the Databricks workspace.
• Translate business questions into analytical requirements with banking units.
• Support the governance and catalog of Lending BI reports using MS Power BI.
• Lead business development projects and gather/validate requirements.
• Facilitate testing, UAT, and implementation, as needed.
