Senior CSA Project Lead – Data Center Construction

Job summary

DayOne seeks an experienced Civil/Structural Construction Lead to manage CSA aspects of construction projects, ensuring quality, cost, and schedule compliance. You will coordinate with stakeholders, supervise on-site progress, and resolve challenges to deliver successful projects.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, 10+ years in related delivery, and fluency in English. Finnish language skills are an advantage; travel within Finland is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in civil, structural, and construction project delivery.
• Strong knowledge of construction management, structural engineering principles, and technical drawings.
• Experience delivering large-scale projects, preferably data centers, industrial or infrastructure.
• Excellent organizational, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong sense of responsibility and ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
• Effective communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work on-site and travel within Finland as required.
• Experience in fast-growing, international environments.
• Fluent in English; Finnish language is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project development, ensuring compliance with design principles, construction standards, and local regulations.
• Manage project quality, schedules, and costs in accordance with contract requirements.
• Conduct pre-construction assessments, including site conditions, utilities, and land preparation.
• Review drawings and oversee foundation works, structural construction, project completion, handover, and warranty management.
• Ensure on-site construction progress aligns with the approved project schedule, coordinating with contractors, consultants, and internal teams.
• Supervise construction quality, conduct inspections, and ensure material compliance with project specifications.
• Monitor construction costs, review site expenditures, and support overall cost management activities.
• Assist in contract administration, claims management, dispute resolution, and tendering processes as required.
• Facilitate effective communication among project stakeholders, resolving design, quality, and site-related issues.
• Coordinate subcontractors and site activities, maintain construction records, and lead defect rectification activities through the Defects Liability Period.
