Nordea Group in Helsinki seeks a Senior/Lead Risk Expert to drive the development of Group Credit Risk oversight. You will lead cross-functional initiatives, coordinate delivery across boundaries and build relationships with internal stakeholders.

The role can be based in Finland, Denmark, Sweden or Norway, with a hybrid working model and opportunities to advance in a Nordic bank environment. You will move between strategic planning and detailed project coordination to deliver practical risk

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent experience with fluent professional English.
• Significant experience in credit risk management and governance in financial services.
• Proven ability to lead complex initiatives with multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation and influencing skills.
• Strong project coordination with structured approach to priorities, milestones, dependencies and risks.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities to translate complex topics into practical solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for senior management.

Responsabilités

• Lead and coordinate development work to enhance Group Credit Risk oversight.
• Turn strategic priorities into clear plans and high-quality deliveries.
• Lead development initiatives from scoping to follow-up.
• Coordinate projects with clear objectives, milestones, dependencies and decision points.
• Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and delivery teams across Group Risk and key stakeholders in business areas.
• Develop and improve risk oversight framework, governance, methodologies, processes and reporting.
• Prepare concise decision material, recommendations, progress reporting and risk-based insights for head of Group Credit Risk.
• Promote knowledge sharing and continuous improvement across Group Credit Risk.
