Job summary

Supercell, based in Helsinki, is seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Engineer to join the Cloud Team onsite. You will design scalable, secure blueprints, automate critical operations, and define guardrails that enable developers and AI tools to work safely and efficiently.

You will mentor engineers and drive architectural decisions while maintaining strong governance across multiple cloud providers. You will collaborate with stakeholders to reduce risk, improve reliability, and enable cost-aware

Qualifications

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and networking fundamentals.
Strong automation and infrastructure as code practices.
Security-focused design for cloud environments and IAM policies.
Experience with identity and access management tools (SSO, Okta).

Responsibilities

Design and maintain opinionated golden paths for infra, CI/CD, DNS, monitoring, auth and storage.
Automate high-risk operations into self-service pipelines with auditable traces.
Build governance guardrails and box-in rules for governance and security.
Support safe AI-assisted development with guardrails and secure access for AI agents.
Write developer-focused runbooks and docs that are machine-readable and accessible to humans and LLMs.
Mentor engineers, lead architectural reviews, and set technical standards across teams.
Assist FinOps to optimize cloud costs and improve cost visibility.
