Job summary

Easor is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer with Azure expertise to join our DevEx team. You will design and run the Azure landing zone, implement governance, and drive IaC across pipelines, tooling, and workflows.

An immediate priority is bringing the Azure tenant to full operational governance with IaC adopted across the board. You will mentor engineers, participate in architecture decisions with partners, and help scale production workloads using Bicep, Terraform, Entra RBAC, and related

The Role

We are hiring a Senior Cloud Engineer with Azure experience to join our newly established DevEx team. As Senior Cloud Engineer, you will bring deep Azure expertise to a high-trust team responsible for building and running the Azure infrastructure, and the broader developer experience: pipelines, tooling, and workflows other engineers depend on every day. You will be expected to make judgment calls on infrastructure architecture and governance, bringing clarity and consistency to the team's technical decisions, while mentoring and growing the engineers around you. An immediate priority for this role is bringing the Azure tenant to full operational governance, with Infrastructure as Code adopted across the board.

What You Will Be Doing

• Build and operate the landing zone. Design, implement, and run the Azure landing zone according to enterprise-scale best practices. Define and enforce Azure policies for consistent governance, monitor system health and set up alerting for early issue detection, and manage backup and restore procedures across all resources.
• Automate with Infrastructure as Code. Lead the effort in infrastructure automation, provisioning and configuration management, using IaC tools such as Bicep and Terraform.
• Operate core Azure services. Work hands-on with the resources that make up our platform: App services, Azure SQL, Service Bus, Event Hub, API management and Application Gateway.
• Take part in architecture decisions. Work with our partners on major projects, bringing infrastructure and platform expertise into technical architecture decisions.
• Manage identity and access. Administer Microsoft Entra ID, including access management and RBAC, in line with the team’s governance standards.
• Manage network connectivity. Configure and maintain VNets, subnets, and private connectivity across the Azure tenant.

What We Are Looking For

• Enterprise-scale Azure Engineer. You have worked hands-on with Microsoft Azure in real enterprise environments, managing multiple subscriptions and complex governance, for production workloads.
• Hands-on Azure practitioner. You have experience running production-scale Azure workloads, including compute, data, messaging, and networking services.
• Automation mindset. Infrastructure as Code is your default way of working. You have adopted it for production environments.
• Detail-oriented. You care about getting the fundamentals right, naming, tagging, and policy structure, and hold the line on them as the environment scales.
• Vocal in architecture discussions. You speak up and take a clear position when architecture decisions are being made, especially alongside partners for major projects.
• Strong communicator. You explain technical decisions clearly, in writing and in conversation and document outcomes as a matter of habit.
• Natural mentor. You enjoy helping other engineers around you grow and take the time to do it well.
• Fluent English communication skills, Finnish or Spanish is a plus

The salary is 5000-6500 €/month depending on experience and location, plus country specific employee benefits, plus possible equity/stock incentives.
