PiBond is seeking a Senior Chemist to join our R&D team in Espoo. You will design synthesis processes, conduct laboratory experiments, and develop new polymer formulations to support advanced semiconductor materials.

The role requires 4+ years in polymer synthesis/analysis, strong formulation skills, and experience with analytical techniques. You will report to the program leader and collaborate across departments, including scale-up discussions with production teams.

Qualificações

• PhD or MSc in Polymer chemistry, material science, or related fields.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in polymer synthesis, purification, and analysis.
• Strong understanding of polymer synthesis routes and purification techniques.

Responsabilidades

• Execute and manage research and development projects.
• Design and execute experiments for the synthesis of siloxane polymers.
• Develop and optimize formulations for the targeted application.
• Characterize materials using NMR, GPC, GC, FTIR, TGA, and other techniques.
• Analyze data with Minitab or similar software to identify trends.
• Collaborate with process engineers to transfer lab results to production.
• Report results to partners and customers globally and support scale-up.
