Job summary

Virta, Europe''s fastest-growing EV charging platform, is hiring two Senior Software Engineers for Pricing & Finance Services. You will build the backend that sets tariffs, processes settlements and invoices customers, with a strong emphasis on correctness and auditable transactions across markets.

You''ll shape architecture, drive quality standards and collaborate with product, operations and other engineers to keep the financial picture coherent from end to end.

Qualifications

• Experience building production backend services with a focus on correctness and maintainability.
• Strong data modeling and SQL skills with financial-grade correctness requirements.
• Ability to own significant technical decisions with wide latitude.
• Excellent English communication and collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

• Shape the technical direction across pricing, tariffs, settlements, and invoicing services.
• Build end-to-end pricing and tariff logic, settlements and invoicing flows and the exposing APIs.
• Ensure accuracy, auditability and idempotency in all financial systems.
• Define testing strategy, reviews and release discipline on the team.
• Mentor engineers through design reviews and code quality practices.
• Collaborate with product, operations and other teams to ensure a coherent financial picture.
