Job summary

Cloud Protection by WithSecure in Helsinki is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Backend Team within CPSF to scale real-time threat protection inside Salesforce workflows. You will design and implement backend services on .NET and AWS, focusing on reliability, security, and scalability, with collaboration across product, architecture, and DevOps.

The role is hybrid with regular time in the Helsinki office; English fluency is expected, and cybersecurity knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a software engineer with a backend focus.
• Experience designing, deploying, and operating production workloads on AWS.
• Experience with Lambda, ECS, API Gateway, S3, RDS or similar services.
• Strong collaboration across Product, Architecture, and Front-end teams.
• Fluent English and base in Finland (Uusimaa) with hybrid Helsinki work.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using .NET and AWS.
• Build backend microservices and APIs for internal services and Salesforce integrations.
• Support file streaming and callback-based workflows.
• Participate in full feature lifecycle from design to testing and maintenance.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, QA, DevOps, Salesforce teams, and stakeholders.
• Create and review pull requests, maintain code quality, and drive best practices.
• Build and maintain AWS infrastructure including networking, security, storage, compute, monitoring.
• Contribute to investigations through spikes, ADRs, and PoC work; monitor observability.
