Job summary

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in modern production Android architecture and setting technical standards for a platform or mobile domain.
• Ability to represent mobile platform principles with enough iOS fluency to shape cross‑functional architecture decisions.
• Experience shaping mobile‑facing platform contracts, API behavior, or backend boundaries that improve product quality.
• Ability to read, debug, and contribute to backend systems when needed to unblock mobile outcomes.
• Experience shaping AI‑enabled engineering systems for validation and quality.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the Android platform foundation: define architecture, modular boundaries, and native patterns for fast, secure experiences.
• Lead through hands‑on Android system design to turn complex problems into durable production architecture.
• Improve reliability and delivery confidence with automated testing, observability, rollout practices, and AI‑enabled validation.
• Create clear mobile‑facing system contracts by aligning with iOS, backend, product, and design teams.
• Raise mobile‑system judgment by turning complex work into reusable standards and patterns.
