Job summary

AlphaSense has a Senior Staff Android Engineer role to drive technical direction for Android and mobile-facing systems powering enterprise workflows. You will leverage deep Android expertise to influence architecture, standards, and system contracts across initiatives.

This hands-on position combines architectural ownership with long-term product impact, helping teams move faster while preserving reliability, security, and trust in enterprise mobile experiences.

Qualifications

• Expertise in modern production Android architecture and setting technical standards.
• Fluency in iOS and ability to shape cross-functional architecture decisions.
• Experience shaping mobile-facing platform contracts or backend boundaries.
• Ability to read, debug, and contribute to backend systems to unblock mobile outcomes.
• Experience shaping AI-enabled engineering systems for validation and quality.

Responsibilities

• Define Android-rooted mobile-system direction and technical planning for speed, reliability, and security.
• Lead hands-on Android system design and durable production architecture.
• Scale reliability, rollout, observability, and AI-enabled validation across initiatives.
• Create durable, well-defined mobile-facing system contracts and ownership boundaries.
• Raise mobile-system judgment and establish reusable standards across teams.
