Job summary

Vend, with offices in Stockholm, Oslo, Helsinki and Copenhagen, is seeking a Senior Analytics and Infrastructure Engineer for User Engagement and Marketing. You will establish the engineering standard for the team and design scalable data infrastructure that powers automated insights and marketing communications.

Use SQL, Python, Snowflake, dbt, Airflow and Fivetran to build high‑impact data models, collaborate with cross‑functional partners, and drive AI‑ready analytics.

Qualifications

• Senior analytics engineer with a track record in data infrastructure or analytics engineering.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python; experience with cloud data warehousing (Snowflake).
• Familiarity with dbt, Airflow, and Fivetran for orchestrating data flows.
• Marketing data fluency including attribution, funnel analysis, and lifecycle data.

Responsibilities

• Establish core data infrastructure powering User Engagement and Marketing efforts.
• Design scalable data pipelines for ingestion and pre-processing.
• Develop high-utility data products to support triggered communications and lifecycle events.
• Collaborate with Marketing Managers, Data Scientists and Product teams to ensure usable, actionable models.
• Contribute to ARIA, the internal AI/LLM analytics tool, by designing data schemas for AI readiness.
