Job summary

Zoomcar is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join its Protocol Stack team in Espoo, Finland. In this role, you will design and implement critical 5G NR protocols, collaborating closely with teams to validate implementations in live environments.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in wireless/telecom protocol development.
• Proficient in writing production-grade near-real-time protocol software.
• Deep knowledge of PDCP and NGAP procedures.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop C++ implementations of 5G NR protocols.
• Collaborate with teams to validate NGAP procedures.
• Perform debugging and root-cause analysis of interface-layer issues.

Skills

C++ proficiency (C++14/17)

Wireless/telecom protocol development

Understanding of NGAP and eGTP

Debugging tools (GDB, Wireshark)

Ability to translate specifications into software

Education
