Job summary

Securitas Oy in Helsinki is seeking a Team Lead for on-site security to oversee patrols, access control, and incident response while delivering outstanding customer service to the client’s employees.

You will lead and coach staff, ensure training, manage logs and reports, coordinate with campus management, and drive continuous improvements to safety and security practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and guide new and experienced colleagues to ensure knowledge and understanding at the appropriate level.
• Ensure employees have received comprehensive training required to operate safely and meet requirements.
• Maintain and verify access to necessary tools, equipment and information.
• Ensure onsite incidents are responded to and reported efficiently and accurately.
• Manage onsite administrative duties (logs, incident reports, etc.).
• Support and maintain lines of communication between Security Guards and onsite management.
• Ensure real time onsite situations and incidents are managed per policies and procedures.
• Assist management with ad-hoc requests.
• Ensure site documentation is maintained and up to date.
• Provide consistently high levels of customer service.
• Complete continuous training and development activities.
• Seek to enhance the security stature of the site by recommending innovations and new ways of working.

Role Purpose

You will be working to make the world of one of the largest global organisations safe, conducting patrols, searches, administering badges and delivering – at all times – outstanding customer service to our client and their employees.

Responsibilities

Leading the onsite security team, the Team Lead will fully and satisfactorily complete and delegate duties onsite which include, but are not limited to:

• Lead and guide new and experience colleagues to ensure their knowledge and understanding is at the appropriate level
• Ensure employees have received the necessary and appropriate comprehensive training required to operate safely and meet requirements
• Maintain and verify that employees have access to the necessary tools, equipment and information required to perform their duties
• Ensure onsite incidents are responded to and reported efficiently and accurately
• Manage administrative duties onsite (such as completing logs, incident reports, etc.)
• Support and maintain lines of communication between Security Guards and onsite management (Security Supervisor and/or Campus Manager)
• Ensure real time onsite situations and incidents (such as alarms, evacuations, first aid calls, etc.) are managed and handled in accordance with policies and procedures
• Assist management with ad-hoc requests
• Ensure site documentation is maintained and up to date at all times
• Provide consistently high levels of customer service
• Complete continuous training and development activities
• Seek to enhance the security stature of the site by recommending innovations and new ways of working to site management
• Represent ACS and Securitas in a way that maintains the standards, brand and values of both Integrity while unsupervised, Knowledge of access control software, Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Strong general IT ability, Strong organisation, communication and organisational skills, Experience in corporate security, Desire and ability to learn and grow
