Job summary

Caverion is seeking a security equipment installer or specialist for our Lahti team. You will handle installation, fault finding, programming and maintenance of access control, burglar alarm and camera systems, plus lock installations across Päijät-Häme.

This permanent role emphasizes independent work and collaboration with another installer. The position requires electrical or locksmith training and over 5 years’ experience.

Qualifications

• Education in electrical or locksmith trade or equivalent.
• Over 5 years’ experience in security equipment installations or lock work.
• Knowledge of locking products and systems (e.g. Abloy and iLOQ).
• Clean criminal background for security clearance.
• Category B driver’s license.
• Fluent Finnish; English helpful.

Responsibilities

• Install, fault-find, repair, program and commission access control, burglar alarm and camera systems.
• Perform lock installations and related security hardware work.
• Maintain and service security systems; field service across Päijät-Häme region; occasional longer projects.
• Work with CAD design, quotations and project handling.

About this role

As a security systems professional you will enable operations. You will join a team of professionals where work gets done and projects are completed. We are looking for a security equipment installer or specialist to join our Lahti team in a permanent position. You will work with security technologies and locking systems as part of the maintenance electrical and security team.

Responsibilities

• installation
• fault finding
• repairs
• programming
• commissioning and maintenance of access control, burglar alarm and camera systems
• lock installations
• working at customer sites across Päijät-Häme region such as telecom operator's equipment rooms, stores, schools and logistics centers
• working independently and with another security equipment installer
• predominantly field service with some longer projects
• work hours Mon–Fri 07:00–15:30 and a company car is provided
• design of security systems (CAD), quotation calculations and project handling

Requirements

• suitable education such as electrical or locksmith training
• over 5 years of experience in security equipment installations or lock work
• knowledge of locking products and systems (e.g. Abloy and iLOQ)
• a clean criminal background for security clearance
• a category B driver's license
• fluent Finnish (English beneficial)
• good customer service and interpersonal skills
• a proactive work attitude and ability to work independently
• work safety and hot work cards and first aid training (can be arranged at start if needed)

A security clearance will be performed with your consent.
