Job summary

RELEX Solutions is seeking a Lead Security Engineer to join our in-house cyber defense team in Helsinki. You will lead detection and response across our cyber estate, including endpoints, clouds, SaaS, and software supply chains, and guide signals engineering with AI-assisted capabilities.

You’ll work with a skilled team and collaborate with our SOC for day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate brings hands-on incident response leadership, expertise with Defender and Sentinel, experience with

Qualifications

Hands-on experience in leading security incident response.
Know-how to leverage Microsoft Defender and Microsoft Sentinel.
Experience with a CNAPP solution like Wiz.
Up-to-date knowledge of emerging threats and TTPs.
Solid understanding of software development processes.
Ability to apply AI tools effectively in detection and response.
Bias for action and self-guided problem solving.
Willingness to coach less experienced team members (not people management).

Responsibilities

Lead our security detection and response capabilities across the entire cyber estate.
Contribute to signals engineering and build custom tripwires and threat intel integrations.
Understand the cyber estate to prioritize where detection matters most.
Take hands-on lead during major security incidents when needed.
