Haukiputaan School is a comprehensive school located in Oulu, Finland. The school provides basic education for grades 1-9.
In addition to general classes, there are several small groups and the Jopo-classrooms in northern Oulu.
About 840 pupils study at the school and there are 134 staff members.

Salary is determined according to the municipal teaching sector collective agreement.
Before finalising the appointment, the successful candidate must present a criminal background check as required by the Act on Background Checks for Working with Children (504/2002), no later than 30 days after notification of the decision.
The position includes a trial period.
