We are seeking a Restaurant Manager for Kajaani in a permanent position. The role involves not only daily restaurant operations but also long-term business development in collaboration with the owners. The candidate will have strong restaurant industry experience, solid leadership skills, and a genuine drive to grow sales and improve operations.

Responsibilities

• managing daily operations, scheduling shifts, leading and training staff, driving customer experience and service quality, monitoring sales, margins, waste and labor costs, and developing profitability.
• You will oversee inventory management and supplier orders, work closely with the kitchen to develop the menu, service style and procedures, and actively participate in corporate sales growth, private events, and partnerships.
• You will help enhance restaurant operations over time, seek new ways to increase take-away and event sales, and contribute to marketing by generating ideas and creating photo/video content for social media.
• You will also update the website with current content and help build the restaurant's visibility across channels.

Requirements

prior restaurant management experience, ability to lead staff in a constructive, goal-oriented and example-driven manner, proactiveness, responsibility and customer focus, strong multitasking and organizational skills, and understanding of restaurant finances. An interest in marketing, events and social media as part of the restaurant's visibility is valued. The right candidate will be comfortable with making decisions and committed to developing restaurant operations long-term with the owners.
