Job summary

Academic Work Finland Oy is seeking a hands-on Project Coordinator for six months to manage international customer projects and deliveries. You will engage with Portuguese-speaking customers in South America, translate needs into actions, and collaborate with procurement, logistics, and engineering teams.

You will support project schedules, purchase orders and ERP processes, including SAP, while coordinating suppliers and external service providers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering.
• Fluent Portuguese.
• Professional working proficiency in English.
• Experience coordinating activities and schedules in project work.
• Experience with purchasing, purchase orders or ERP processes.
• Ability to understand technical equipment in industrial settings.
• Willingness to travel to South America.
• Experience with SAP.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate international customer and delivery projects.
• Communicate with Portuguese-speaking customers in South America.
• Follow project schedules, open actions and deliveries.
• Ensure progress of agreed tasks and proactively follow up with stakeholders.
• Create and follow purchase orders and procurement activities.
• Work with SAP and ERP systems.
• Coordinate suppliers and external service providers.
• Support sourcing and procurement of services (machining, lifting, field services).
• Investigate delivery issues and project deviations.
• Collaborate with project managers, procurement, logistics, and customers.
• Support customer meetings and travel to South America.
