Job summary

Dentsu Finland Oy is seeking a Head of Finance Reporting & Control in Helsinki to lead financial controls across Finnish entities. You will guide technical accounting, maintain an effective control environment, and ensure audit readiness and accurate reporting for local, regional, and group needs.

You will partner with Commercial Finance and other stakeholders, drive transformation across financial control, and oversee Master Data governance and KPI management while supporting a multinational

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–7 years in audit or senior in-house finance.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, Finnish accounting standards and local compliance.
• Experience with tax, transfer pricing, statutory reporting and internal controls.
• Experience in multinational company with group reporting and short-deadline requests.
• Fluency in English and Finnish preferred; Scandinavian language may be considered.
• Master’s degree in finance or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive the financial control framework across all Finnish entities.
• Provide day-to-day technical accounting and internal control guidance to the market finance team.
• Design, implement, and maintain an effective internal financial control environment.
• Oversee accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting in line with policies.
• Maintain process documentation to support policy compliance and audit readiness.
• Manage external audits and projects related to legal entity structure.
• Act as primary market contact for cluster and group Financial Reporting and Operational Finance.
