Job summary

Konecranes seeks an Embedded Linux Platform Specialist to expand an existing Linux platform and CI/CD practices across its Port Solutions unit. The role combines hands-on OS work with cross‑team collaboration in Finland, with the manager based in the Netherlands.

You will work on ISAR-based Linux platforms, contribute to OS updates, packaging, and CI/CD pipelines, and share expertise with teams across Europe while occasionally travelling within the region.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Linux development for platform expansion.
• Experience with OS updates, packaging and Linux-based platforms.
• Familiar with CI/CD pipelines and OT environments.
• Fluent English, additional European languages a plus.

Responsibilities

• Expand an existing Linux platform and CI/CD practices across Port Solutions.
• Develop further, adapt and scale the platform for other teams.
• Maintain OS updates, packaging, and platform maintenance.
• Collaborate with Finland and European teams; travel within Europe as needed.
