Job summary

Bluefors in Helsinki is seeking an early-career Radio Frequency Engineer to contribute to RF/microwave solutions for quantum computing and cryogenic measurement systems. You will develop prototypes, run laboratory tests, and analyze performance while collaborating with a diverse team.

The role welcomes Master’s or PhD candidates or new graduates, with experience in RF assemblies and microwave measurement and a strong command of English.

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related field.
• Hands-on experience with RF assemblies and GHz-range analog systems.
• Experience with microwave test and data analysis (Python or similar).
• Familiarity with circuit simulation and layout tools (ADS, CST, AWR, Sonnet, Altium).
• Strong analytical skills and good communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Design and simulate RF solutions for quantum computing and cryogenic systems.
• Develop test methodologies and analyze measurement data.
• Document technical work and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Contribute to publications and/or intellectual property development.
• Support lab testing, prototype development and performance verification.
