Job summary

Geberit’s ceramics factory in Ekenäs, Finland, part of the global Geberit Group, is seeking a Quality Manager to drive production and product quality across the site. The factory operates 24/7 with high automation, employing around 190 experts under the IDO, Ifö, Porsgrund and Geberit brands.

You will lead quality inspections, handle complaints, and ensure audits and documentation are carried out, reporting to the factory manager and the Group’s quality organisation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee quality inspections (functional, dimensional and visual).
• Handle customer and internal complaints with appropriate corrective actions.
• Lead internal and external audits and drive corrective actions.
• Ensure documentation and reporting are maintained with the team.
• Coach and supervise a small team of 3 people.
• Coordinate with production and product development to address root causes.

Geberit's ceramics factory in Ekenäs, which started in 1969, is looking for a quality manager. The modern and automated factory in Ekenäs manufactures 24/7 bathroom porcelain with robots, high automation and around 190 top-notch experts under the trademarks IDO, Ifö, Porsgrund and Geberit. Our factory is in the idyllic Ekenäs within walking distance of the city center.

As Quality Manager, you will play a key role in coordinating and developing measures to ensure that our production and product processes meet our customers' expectations as well as industry standards and quality requirements. You will be responsible for quality inspections (functional, dimensional and visual) and for handling complaints. You are responsible for internal and external audits and for ensuring that measures are taken carefully and appropriately. The quality organisation trains personnel and works closely with production, product development and other stakeholders, identifying root causes of problems. You will follow the Group's quality initiatives and communicate and report on them to relevant stakeholders. You are responsible for documentation and reporting together with your team. You act as an encouraging supervisor for a small team (3 people). You will report to the factory manager and the Group's quality organisation.

We expect from you

• experience from quality assurance work, preferably in an international environment
• practical experience and understanding of ISO certification

In your work, you will need Finnish and English. Swedish language skills are considered an advantage, as is knowledge of project management, LEAN methods and EHS (Environment, Health & Safety).
