Job summary

Patria Oyj is seeking a Quality Engineer (F-35 Program) to join the F-35 FFA Manufacturing team in Halli, Jämsä. You will support production by acting as the quality liaison between production and the customer, developing QA methods, and training staff in quality procedures.

The role welcomes both experienced professionals and engineers starting their careers in a dynamic, international project. You will work with production and quality teams to improve processes, with language requirements

Qualifications

• Experience in quality management/assurance.
• Ability to produce documents in English and Finnish as working languages.
• Degree in engineering (B.Sc or M.Sc) or equivalent experience.
• Detail oriented with good IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as contact person in quality matters between production and customer's quality team.
• Develop and maintain quality assurance methods and tools.
• Participate as a quality representative in developing production processes, tools and methods.
• Train production staff in quality procedures, methods and tools.

The F-35 Forward Fuselage Factory has been completed last year, and we need personnel for the factory’s production. You will have the opportunity to build something new in an international environment and contribute to securing Finland’s national security of supply.

We are looking for

Quality Engineer (F-35 Program)

to join F-35 FFA Manufacturing team in Halli, Jämsä.

In this role you support the production team by

• acting as the contact person in product quality matters between our production and customer’s quality team

• developing and maintaining quality assurance methods and tools

• participating as a quality representative in developing the production processes, tools and methods.

• training production people for quality procedures, methods and tools

You will be working together with the production team, as well as with our quality engineers and customer. In this role, you’ll get the chance to work in a fascinating new project and develop procedures and ways of working.

What kind of person are we looking for?

You are a team player who enjoys collaborating with different people. You have already experience in quality management/assurance and you understand the importance of accuracy and deadlines. This role is suitable for both an experienced quality professional and someone who is starting their career as an engineer.

We expect that you

• have some experience in quality management/assurance

• can use Finnish as a working language

• can produce documents in English as well as use English as a working language

• have a degree of B.Sc or M.Sc or corresponding experience in appropriate engineering

• have detail orientated personality

• have good IT skills, for example experience on MFiles, PowerBI, ERP systems etc.

• have interest in improving ways of working

Experience of working in production or aviation industry is considered a plus, as well as familiarity with quality standards and audits.
