Job summary

Metso is seeking a Manager, QA/QC to join the Minerals Separation Project Quality team in Espoo, Finland. The role focuses on leading project quality management, developing QA/QC specifications, and ensuring supplier and product quality through inspections and audits.

The candidate should have a degree in materials or mechanical engineering with 5+ years of experience, strong root-cause analysis skills, and familiarity with welding, NDT, and coating procedures. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in material or mechanical engineering.
• 5+ years of relevant work experience in quality management.
• Profound knowledge of quality processes and practices.
• Root cause analysis capability and problem-solving skills.
• Welding documentation, NDT knowledge, and coating procedures familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Act as a Project Quality Manager on selected projects.
• Create Project Quality Execution Plan and QA/QC specifications.
• Review and approve supplier QA documents and procedures.
• Coordinate and manage Metso, third-party and customer quality inspections.
• Perform product audits to ensure compliance with standards.
