Job summary

Metsä Fibre, part of Metsä Group, seeks a Business Controller, Pulp to join the Finance organization at our head office in Espoo. You will lead business partnering for pulp sales and supply chain, deliver financial insights, and manage forecasting and reporting for internal and external stakeholders.

The role requires a higher education degree such as an M.Sc. in Finance or Industrial Engineering and Management, plus at least five years in related finance roles.

Qualifications

• Higher education degree suitable for the position, such as an M.Sc. in Finance or Industrial Engineering and Management.
• At least five years of relevant experience in business partnering, financial consulting, or controlling.
• Strong understanding of financial planning, reporting and performance analysis.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
• Fluency in English; Finnish language skills are seen as an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide business controlling and business partnering for pulp sales and supply chain management.
• Deliver financial insights to support decision making and lead forecasting.
• Analyze financial results and KPIs; collaborate across sales, supply chain, production and finance.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
• Design and manage data models and reporting structures; contribute to financial systems development.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Report to CFO and be a member of Finance Management Team and Pulp Sales & Supply Chain teams.
