Job summary

University of Helsinki's Helsinki Institute of Life Science (HiLIFE) invites three postdoctoral research fellows to join efforts in proteomics-based disease and drug-response research. You will map molecular circuitry using advanced cell models, collaborate with neurobiology experts, and work with clinical material from AML patients.

We expect a PhD, independent planning, and strong English; Finnish is not required. Positions are 2–3 years with a trial period; reside in Finland during employment.

Qualifications

• PhD in a relevant field (neuroscience, developmental biology, stem cell biology or related)
• Independent planning and execution of own work
• Excellent written and spoken English; Finnish is not required

Responsibilities

• Conduct proteomics-driven studies using 2D/3D cell models and patient-derived material
• Collaborate with clinical partners to connect genetic variants to protein networks
• Handle and analyze clinical materials and apply chemoproteomics and MS-based methods
