Job summary

Epec Oy, part of the Ponsse Group technology family, seeks an experienced project management professional for a complex product development program. You will coordinate budgeting, resource planning, reporting, and stakeholder management to reliably deliver objectives and milestones.

You can base yourself in Seinäjoki, Tampere or Turku with flexible hybrid work, and you’ll work with multinational partners and OEMs in a dynamic, technology‑driven environment.

Qualifications

• Proven track record delivering large, complex embedded systems projects with business impact.

• Understanding of embedded architectures, RTOS, BSP, API, and peripheral integration.

What kind of tasks?

Epec is looking for an experienced project management professional to manage and lead a complex product development project involving several internal and external multinational and demanding stakeholders. You will be responsible for budgeting, resource and project planning, project reporting, stakeholder management, and successful delivery of agreed project objectives and deliverables.

You can be based in Epec offices in Seinäjoki, Tampere or Turku and flexible hybrid work is possible.

What we expect from you?

We expect you to have a proven track record of successfully delivering large and complex embedded systems development projects with significant business impact. You should have several years of experience working with large OEM customers and partners, preferably from off-highway, automotive, telecom, and/or other relevant industries. Understanding of systems and solutions such as off-highway machines, autonomous and assistance system components, electromobility, connectivity and control systems is advantageous. Strong understanding of embedded architectures, RTOS, BSP, API and peripheral integration is also needed and understanding of functional safety is beneficial. Fluent English and Finnish are essential for this position.

To be successful, you need to see the big picture and handle complex issues under uncertain circumstances. You must be able to work under pressure, prioritize multiple tasks, and have excellent leadership and management skills. Familiarity with working and negotiating with people from different organizational and cultural backgrounds is crucial.
