Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage multiple data centre construction projects through the full project lifecycle.
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to agreed quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain project execution plans, programmes, and resource schedules.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks through proactive planning and management.
  • Ensure compliance with client requirements, project specifications, and industry standards.
  • Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions where required.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and key project stakeholders.
  • Maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and reporting.
  • Chair project meetings and provide clear updates on progress, risks, and key deliverables.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Lead and manage site management teams to achieve project objectives.
  • Drive continuous improvement and best practice across project.
  • Ensure construction activities are coordinated effectively across all disciplines.
  • Monitor productivity and resource allocation to maximise efficiency.
  • Review and approve construction methodologies and sequencing plans.
  • Monitor procurement schedules to ensure timely delivery of plant, equipment, and materials.
  • Ensure all project documentation is maintained in accordance with company procedures.
  • Promote a positive and proactive health and safety culture across all project activities.
  • Ensure all works are completed in accordance with project specifications, drawings, and quality standards.
  • Manage quality inspections, audits, and snagging activities.
  • Drive a right-first-time culture throughout project delivery.
  • Ensure quality documentation and certification requirements are maintained.
  • Coordinate with specialist subcontractors, consultants, and client teams during commissioning phases.
  • Manage practical completion, handover, and defects resolution processes.

About the Role

The Project Manager is responsible for the successful delivery of large-scale data centre construction projects across Europe from inception through to completion and handover. The role requires strong leadership, commercial awareness, and technical expertise to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while maintaining excellent client relationships. The Project Manager will act as the principal interface between the client, design team, subcontractors, and site management team, ensuring all contractual, financial, operational, and safety objectives are achieved.
