Hitachi Energy Finland Oy in Vaasa is seeking a Project Lead Engineer to design and deliver complete substations for distribution and transmission grids. You will lead the engineering work in customer projects, typically electric power installations from 10–400 kV.

You will guide the project engineering team, coordinate with customers and partners, plan resources, and ensure governance, quality, and schedule.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or higher in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• 3–5 years of engineering, R&D or project management experience.
• Experience with Medium to High Voltage Projects in Power Systems.
• Site works experience is advantageous.
• Fluent in English; Finnish and/or Swedish is a strong advantage.

The opportunity

We are looking for a Project Lead Engineer to join our team in Vaasa, Finland, to lead the work with design and delivery of complete substations for distribution and transmission grids.

As a Project Lead Engineer, you play an important role in our projects. This means leading the engineering work in our customer projects, normally electric power installations in the range from 10-400kV.

Your background

• A bachelor’s degree or above in the area of electrical or mechanical engineering.


• At least 3 to 5 years professional experience in engineering, R&D or project management positions.


• Experience with Medium to High Voltage Projects in Power Systems.


• Experience from site works is an advantage.


• You are fluent in English, written and spoken alike. Finnish and/or Swedish is strong advantage.
