Job summary

Hitachi Energy Finland Oy seeks an experienced HSE Specialist to bolster health, safety and environmental performance across Nordic projects. You will implement and maintain the HSE management system, prepare plans, and ensure compliance with statutory and contractual requirements.

You will collaborate with project teams, customers, and subcontractors, delivering high-quality HSE documentation, risk controls, and incident prevention.

Qualifications

• Experience applying HSE practices on complex projects.
• Familiarity with Nordic project environments and teams.
• Ability to prepare and maintain HSE documentation and plans.
• English and Finnish communication skills are required; Swedish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Implement and continuously improve Hitachi Energy’s Nordic OU HSE management system.
• Prepare and update Project HSE Plan and related HSE documentation.
• Attend clarifications/meetings with customers and subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with legal, contractual and internal HSE requirements.
• Produce project review reports and support continuous improvement.
• Review subcontractor HSE documentation to meet standards.
