• Candidates must hold a D.Sc. or PhD and have a successful postdoctoral or equivalent research or industrial track record.

Responsibilities

• Lead ship hydrodynamics research and education within the Marine and Arctic Technology group.
• Teach marine hydrostatics and hydrodynamics across B.Sc. and M.Sc. courses and supervise theses.
• Advance research on loads, seakeeping, and hydrodynamic forces using experiments, theory, and simulations.
• Develop and manage the Aalto Ice and Wave Tank facility and collaborate with industry and international partners.
