ATA-Henkilöstöpalvelut Oy is seeking two production workers for a plastics manufacturing client in Kuopio. You will laminate, sew and finish PVC fabrics in production and at installation sites across Finland. Travel may last several days and accommodation/travel are covered by the client.

Experience in the process industry and process industry training are preferred. Reading production drawings is a plus. The role requires teamwork, willingness to travel, and the ability to handle physical tasks

Job description

Two production workers are sought for a plastics manufacturing client in Kuopio. You will be part of the plastics production and your duties include laminating, sewing, and finishing PVC fabrics. Some work takes place in the factory and some at installation sites across Finland. Installation trips may last from a few days to a couple of weeks. The client covers accommodation and travel for business trips. We require prior experience in the process industry; a completed process industry training and possibly prior experience in process industry tasks. If you have experience reading production drawings, that is a plus. Training will be provided. Tasks at installations and in the factory are done in pairs or small teams. Good teamwork ensures uninterrupted production. You should help a colleague; sense of humor is welcome. The work requires reasonable physical condition and some strength. Heavier items are moved with your partner. Travel readiness is required. Production facilities are about 10 km from Kuopio market square. Having your own car eases commuting in shift work, but public transport is also possible.

The job is two shifts on weekdays: morning 06:00–14:00 and evening 14:00–22:00. Installation work times are agreed per site. The work is governed by the Plastic and Chemical Industry collective agreement.

Starting wage is 14.51 €/h. TES shift allowances apply on top of base pay.

After onboarding, some production work may be paid on a contract basis. Reimbursement for travel days is provided.

The job starts as soon as suitable candidates are found. The contract is permanent with ATA Henkilöstöpalvelut. If production needs continue as expected and you learn the tasks, you may transfer to the client’s payroll later. First-round interviews are held by ATA; the most suitable applicants proceed to second-round interviews with the client to tour the work tasks and facilities.
