Job summary

Logistics TKT Systems Oy seeks a production supervisor for its Hämeenlinna workshop to lead daily production operations, ensure smooth resourcing and quality, and drive improvements. You will manage a team of around 30 professionals in machining, assembly and logistics on a day shift, reporting to the production manager.

Job description

We are now seeking a production supervisor for Logistic TKT Systems Oy at Hämeenlinna plant. Take the lead to manage daily production operations and lead a growing workshop team in a machine workshop environment. Logistic TKT Systems Oy manufactures demanding components and assemblies for the machinery and process industry in Pirkkala and Hämeenlinna. We are now looking for a production supervisor for our Hämeenlinna workshop to a permanent employment contract, responsible for the smooth daily production, resourcing and quality. Work starts when a suitable candidate is found.

Key responsibilities

• daily leadership and front-line supervision: you will lead about 30 professionals in machining, assembly and logistics on a day shift. You assign tasks, ensure smooth daily operations and good team spirit.
• Production control and scheduling: ensure customer orders are completed on schedule, with quality requirements and cost efficiency.
• Process and safety development: participate in the continuous improvement of production methods, work methods and safety.
• Collaboration: report directly to the production manager as a supervisor.

What we expect from you

• relevant technical education (e.g. mechanical engineer, technician) or strong hands-on experience in machine shop industry and machining/assembly techniques.
• Previous experience in supervisory/leadership or production control responsibilities.
• Ability to read technical drawings and understand demanding metal finishing requirements.
• Firm but people-oriented leadership - you can organize, decide quickly and act under pressure.
• Good interpersonal skills and fluent mastery of information systems (ERP, MS Office).
