Job summary

Logistic TKT Systems Oy in Hämeenlinna seeks a production supervisor to lead day-to-day operations for a team of about 30 skilled workers in turning, assembly and logistics in a growing machine shop.

You will oversee production control and scheduling to meet customer orders on time, support safety practices, read technical drawings, and collaborate with the production manager.

Qualifications

• Suitable technical education (e.g., mechanical engineer, technician) or strong hands-on experience in machine shop industry and machining/assembly techniques.
• Previous leadership or production-control responsibilities.
• Ability to read technical drawings and understand demanding metalworking requirements.
• Firm but people-oriented leadership.
• Good interpersonal skills and comfortable with ERP and MS Office.

• Daily supervision and people management of roughly 30 machinists, assemblers and logistics professionals.
• Coordinating workload distribution and fostering good team spirit.
• Ensuring smooth day-to-day operations on the day shift.

The role focuses on day-to-day production leadership for a team of about 30 skilled workers in turning, assembly and logistics within a growing machine shop environment. You will be responsible for production control and scheduling to ensure customer orders are completed on time, according to quality requirements and cost-effective. You will participate in developing production methods and safety practices, and report directly to the production manager.
