Job summary

Easpring Finland New Materials Oy in Kotka is seeking a Production Process Engineer to join our CAM plant production team. You will oversee process control, performance, safety, quality, utilities, and continuous improvement, monitoring both the CAM production process and supporting systems.

The role operates in a 24/7 rotating shift schedule, requiring nights, weekends, and holidays. You will work in a cross-functional, international environment, applying Lean, Six Sigma, and SPC tools to

Qualifications

Degree in chemical/process/energy/environmental engineering or related field.
Experience with chemical or continuous-process industries.
Practical experience in control room operations and DCS/SCADA-based process control.
Experience analyzing process data, performance, quality, and consumption.
Safety- and quality-oriented mindset; ability to investigate deviations and apply corrective actions.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control CAM production process from the control room using DCS/SCADA.
Track production performance, quality, and process trends; identify deviations and initiate corrective actions.
Monitor and control utilities and environmental systems (air, water, wastewater, off-gas, scrubbers).
Support safe, stable, and efficient production with a focus on quality.
Analyze performance data and drive improvements using Lean, Six Sigma, and SPC.
