Job summary

Labsystems Diagnostics Oy is seeking an experienced Production/Operations Manager in Finland to plan and coordinate production aligned with forecasts and customer demand.

You will ensure QMS and IVDR compliance, manage raw material buffers, oversee quality control and calibration tasks, and drive process improvements while reporting to management. Fluency in Finnish and English is required, with strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Microbiology.
• 5–10 years of production management experience.
• Experience with SAP ERP in production.
• Fluent in Finnish and English; strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Plan production based on sales forecasts for timely delivery.
• Coordinate production team to ensure products are ready on time with QMS and IVDR compliance.
• Plan raw material availability with procurement team with buffer stocks of critical raw materials.
• Control product quality to meet the requirements of first-tier quality control acceptance.
• Control and manage calibrator and control value assignment as per customer needs.
• Validating and scaling up products.
• Implementing, improving and documenting production processes.
• Controlling and reporting monthly production volumes and quality to the supervisor and management.
• Ensuring production processes and products meet the requirements of QMS and IVDR standards.
• Implement and follow GLP/GMP manufacturing practices.
