Job summary

Tieto Caretech is seeking an experienced Product Owner for Chemistry & Microbiology solutions within the Laboratory team. You will maximize value by translating customer and regulatory needs into prioritized work, owning the backlog, and aligning lab workflows with quality, security, and regulatory standards.

You will collaborate with laboratory experts, customers, product management, and development teams to drive roadmaps and ensure high-value delivery in a hybrid work setup.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in laboratory information systems (LIS/LIMS) or healthcare software.
• Experience as Product Owner, Product Manager, Application Specialist, Laboratory Consultant, or similar role.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Biomedical Science, Healthcare Informatics, Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain the product roadmap for assigned laboratory products.
• Translate product strategy into epics, features, and user stories.
• Own and prioritize the product backlog.
• Balance customer requirements, regulatory needs, technical debt, and modernization initiatives.
• Ensure development teams work on the highest-value items.
• Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives together with the development teams.
• Support business cases and investment proposals.
