Tieto is seeking a Senior Performance Test Engineer to join our agile product development team and shape a modern digital solution ecosystem for healthcare and welfare. You will design and execute performance strategies, collaborate across development and operations, and ensure scalable, reliable software that meets industry standards throughout the lifecycle.

Qualifications

Deep experience in performance testing and software quality assurance to ensure scalability and responsiveness.
Experience in product development with a strong focus on user experience.
Hands-on with testing tools (Robot Framework, JMeter, Ranorex, Gatling, LoadRunner).
Proficiency in scripting (JavaScript or Python) and CI/CD tooling (Git, Azure DevOps, Jenkins).
Ability to analyze system behavior under load and recommend optimizations.
Interest in agile software development and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Fluent Finnish and English for reporting and discussions.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain performance testing frameworks and tools to validate scalability, reliability, and responsiveness.
Develop and execute performance, load, and stress test scenarios integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
Collaborate with developers, QA, and operations to embed performance testing practices into daily workflows.
Analyze system behavior under load and provide actionable optimization recommendations.
Troubleshoot and improve existing performance test scripts and frameworks for efficiency and accuracy.
Promote best practices in performance engineering across the organization.
