Job summary

Normet, a global technology company, seeks a Product Engineer to join the Logistics & Scaling Product Line in Iisalmi, Finland. You will take day-to-day technical ownership of products, drive development, and coordinate design, testing and validation with engineering, R&D, and production teams.

Travel occasionally; bachelor's or master's in mechanical engineering; 3+ years in product engineering. We offer ePassi lunch, Flex benefits, health care and support for degree studies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering, automation or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in product engineering or similar role.
• Experience with machinery or mobile equipment.
• Fluent written and spoken English; ability to travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Take day-to-day technical ownership of assigned products throughout their lifecycle.
• Lead technical design, system integration, testing and validation for new products.
• Translate product requirements into practical technical solutions with engineering functions.
• Drive technical changes, improvements and corrective actions for existing products.
• Participate in prototype builds, testing, validation and field trials.
