Job summary

Dell Technologies in Finland is seeking a Principal Engineer - AI Networking Solutions Architect to lead the design, deployment, and optimization of large-scale AI network infrastructure. You will work with clients and cross-functional teams to ensure technical excellence and high customer satisfaction.

In this role you’ll leverage NVIDIA, AMD and Intel technologies, coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, and deliver comprehensive documentation and architectural designs while acting as a trusted

Qualifications

• Five or more years of working full-time as an IT professional in a Data Centre environment.
• Experience designing and deploying large-scale AI network infrastructures.
• Expertise in NVIDIA networking technologies: InfiniBand, Ethernet, MLNX-OS, NVIDIA Cumulus OS and SONiC.
• Strong knowledge of IP switching, routing, L3 BGP eVPN DC, plus firewalls and security products.
• Proven ability to document technical problems and communicate with business and technical audiences.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; English and local language skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead deployment and integration of AI network infrastructure solutions with major hardware vendors.
• Coordinate activities of technical teams to meet contract obligations and SLAs.
• Identify risks early and drive resolution to prevent customer impact.

Key Responsibilities

As a member of the services delivery team, you will collaborate with Dell consultants, engineering teams, and client stakeholders to design, deploy, optimize, and support large-scale AI network infrastructure solutions, ensuring technical excellence and customer satisfaction throughout each phase of the engagement.

You will:

• Lead the deployment and integration of AI network infrastructure solutions utilizing NVIDIA, AMD, and Intel technologies.
• Coordinate the activities of technical solution team members to meet contract obligations, ensuring that full life cycle delivery costs are within the service level agreement.
• Proactively identify potential issues and drive resolution to avoid customer impact, facilitating continuous improvement.
• Build and sustain effective communications with all partners and cross-functional teams, maximizing the customer experience and relationships
• Collaborate with clients to assess technical requirements and deliver customized infrastructure solutions.
• Develop comprehensive documentation including architecture diagrams, deployment guides, technical designs, and operational procedures.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor throughout the customer engagement lifecycle.
• Maintain awareness of all service matters and manage customers during any escalations.

Essential Requirements

• Five or more years of working full-time as an IT professional in a Data Centre environment. Proven success in designing and deploying large-scaleAI network infrastructures.
• Excellent knowledge and experience of networking concepts: IP Switching and Routing, networking experience up to and including L3 BGP eVPN Data Centre technologies, Firewalls and Security products. Implementation of advanced networking solutions, including NVIDIA InfiniBand and Ethernet technologies.
• Demonstrated expertise in NVIDIA networking technologies: InfiniBand (Quantum), Ethernet (Spectrum-X), MLNX-OS, NVIDIA Cumulus OS, and Enterprise SONiC. Experience with one or more 3rd party networking vendor equipment, such as Cisco Networks, Juniper Networks, Palo Alto Networks and Extreme Networks. Capacity to manage multiple projects independently and deliver results within dynamic environments.
• Strong knowledge and experience with communications, wide and local area networking.
• Ability to source information from users, vendors and colleagues and deliver it to the required audience. Strong documentation and reporting skills to effectively document routine technical problems, and to summarize the problems for various clients, including business and technical clients.
• Excellent written, verbal communication, interpersonal skills and most importantly soft skills when dealing with customers. English and local language skills.

Desirable Requirements

• 5+ years of related experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Experience with NVIDIA DGX and DGX SuperPOD platforms or similar GPU platforms.
• Certifications in Networking. Experience with GENAI frameworks and related tools.
