Job summary

Etteplan invites a Principal Consultant, Embedded Systems & Edge AI, to join our Advisory team. You will lead early-phase engagements, frame problems, assess feasibility, and define directions for adopting edge AI and modern embedded architectures in industrial contexts.

You will act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, bridging strategy and execution, collaborating with delivery teams and architects, and scaling our embedded capabilities across Business Units.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in consulting or senior client-facing roles with leadership of engagements.
• Strong embedded software/hardware development and modern software architecture.
• Ability to turn complex challenges into structured directions.
• Background in industrial sectors (manufacturing, energy, automotive, etc.).
• Advisory capabilities bridging strategy and execution.
• Experience in international and multi-disciplinary environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead early-phase engagements and frame client problems in industrial contexts.
• Advise on edge AI adoption and embedded architecture modernization for production systems.
• Translate challenges into clear embedded product roadmaps.
• Support sales and pre-sales with technical credibility.
• Contribute to developing Etteplan’s Embedded Systems & Edge AI offerings.
• Mentor lead engineers and architects across Business Units.
• Promote an AI-first mindset in software and embedded systems development.
